Americom Names Air Force Programs Director

Americom Government Services Inc. hired Timothy Deaver as director of Air Force programs. Deaver has more than 20 years of experience in major commands and most recently served as the deputy chief in National Security Space Office, focusing on space system security vulnerabilities critical space control capabilities.

EchoStar Names President Of Satellite Services

EchoStar Holding Co. named Dean Olmstead president of satellite services.

    Olmstead most recently worked as an advisor to Loral Space and Communications as well as serving as president of Arrowhead Global Solutions. He will report to Charlie Ergen, chairman and CEO of EchoStar Holding Corp., a newly listed company that recently was separated from EchoStar Communications Corp.

Raytheon Names VP of ISR Systems

Raytheon Co. named Timothy Carey vice president for its Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (ISR) organization. Carey, who has worked for Raytheon since 1978, will assume responsibility for the business operations and strategic direction of the ISR systems group.

    Carey most recently served as vice president and deputy for National and Theater Security Programs in Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business.
