Raytheon Forms Team to Pursue U.S. Air Force Launch Range Integration Contract

[Satellite TODAY 04-14-11] Raytheon Technical Services Co., a subsidiary of Raytheon, has formed a team to bid on the U.S. Air Force’s Launch and Test Range System Integrated Support Contract, Raytheon announced April 13.
    The contract consolidates the existing operations and maintenance effort at the Eastern and Western launch ranges and the engineering and sustainment work at the Space and Missile Center into a single range support award.
    The team includes General Dynamics, ASRC Aerospace Corp., Ares Corp., Schafer Corp. and World Technical Services. Raytheon named former NASA astronaut Don McMonagle as program director to lead the team.
