RapidEye Signs on Fugro NPA as U.K. Distributor

[Satellite TODAY 03-14-11] Geospatial solutions provider RapidEye contracted Fugro NPA to be its first reseller in the United Kingdom, covering the territories of Britain and Ireland, RapidEye announced March 11.
    During the past year, RapidEye has worked to complete a global network of distributors in order to facilitate easy access to RapidEye products in their customers’ own language and region. The company has signed similar reseller partnership agreements in Asia, the Middle East, North America and Africa.
    “Fugro NPA is a great addition to our distribution network. Their long history supporting the British market in addition to their leading role as a geospatial center of excellence with the Fugro Group will increase availability and use of our imagery worldwide,” RapidEye Vice President John Ahlrichs said in a statement.
