RapidEye Names U.S. Distributor

      [Satellite TODAY 10-16-09] Geospatial imagery company RapidEye named MapMart as its data distributor in the United States, RapidEye announced Oct. 15.
          MapMart will be RapidEye’s first distributor for the commercial and civil government markets in the United States and will focus on data sales based on wide area, multi-coverage collections of satellite imagery.
          MapMart was one of the first e-commerce geodata distributors and has been providing mapping services since 1951.
