Andrews Acquires ACEi

[11-02-07 – Satellite Today]  Andrews Space Inc. completed the acquisition of Automated Controlled Environments Inc., (ACEi), Andrews announced Nov. 1.
    ACEi develops fault-tolerant aerospace avionics and advanced control systems. Customers include Lockheed Martin, Science Applications International Corp. and Bigelow Aerospace.
    "Avionics, guidance navigation and control technologies, and hardware are critical to providing cost-effective integration services and products,” Jason Andrews, president of Andrews, said in a statement. “By acquiring ACEi, we continue to make progress toward our corporate goal of being a mid-tier system integrator. ACEi’s fault-tolerant launch vehicle and satellite avionics and control systems, complemented by their work on spacecraft components and unmanned vehicles, directly address our current programs and customer base."
