SkyWave Offers New Network Service And Terminal

[09-10-07 – Satellite Today] SkyWave Mobile Communication’s new IsatM2M service and DMR-800D terminals are available for commercial sale, the company announced Sept. 10.

The IsatM2M, which enhances the SkyWave D+ service, enhances existing applications to yield better management, visibility, control and security of critical assets. Typical SkyWave IsatM2M applications include global intermodal container tracking, complex SCADA monitoring with large message payload and robust two-way text messaging applications for advanced logistics and force deployment, the company said.
