China Uses C-COM Systems To Monitor Land Use

      [09/05/07 – Satellite Today] The Ministry of Land Resources in China will be using C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. mobile antenna systems, the company announced Sept. 5.

      C-COM’s iNetVu mobile antenna systems, a transportable satellite system, will be used by the Ministry for land surveying, to monitor land use to ensure it is being used for its intended purpose and to halt illegal construction projects. The antenna systems work in conjunction with China’s Remote Sensing satellite and are equipped with GPS and video transmission capability.
