iDirect Technologies, a privately held U.S. company that designs, develops, and markets bi-directional satellite-based broadband access solutions, is working with the South Western Region Authority of Ireland to launch satellite-based broadband services to local communities and enterprises.

iDirect’s NetModem II Plus terminal equipment was incorporated by ilDana, an Irish broadband service provider, into a network operated by Netdish, a telecommunications and data broadcasting provider.
