Aero Mexico Orders Avionics

Mexican carrier Aero Mexico has ordered avionics and in-flight entertainment systems from Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Rockwell Collins [NYSE: COL] for 11 new Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
The avionics package includes a suite of data link communications, navigation and surveillance sensors. The cabin of the B737-700s will feature a Programmable Audio Video System in-flight entertainment system.
The avionics package also includes the Collins GLU-920 multimode receiver (MMR), an integrated unit that provides the aircraft’s primary position, velocity and time reference, and enables precision landing capability.
