KINGSTON REVENUES UP 46 PER CENT

      Revenues at satellite service provider Kingston Mediastream (KMS) rose 46 per cent year-on-year (up GBP13.2m) in its half-yearly results declared on November 28.

      The figures were released as part of the overall results of Kingston Communica-tions, which also reported record group sales of at GBP108.6m, up 17 per cent on the year. Group CEO Steve Maine said the company remains committed to rolling out its DSL service including “[Entering] into substantial partnerships with other network operators.” He predicted that Kingston’s share of DSL business will be in the region of ” GBP150m over three years.” He reported that KIT – the company’s interactive TV service – now has more than 2500 hard connections and “8,000 sales contracts in hand to date.” Maine said the division’s EBITDA earnings were up 14 per cent to GBP2m.
