Reconnaissance Satellite Launched By Lockheed Martin Titan

A Lockheed Martin Corp.[LMT] Titan 4B rocket successfully launched a reconnaissance spacecraft for the U.S. Air Force and the National Reconnaissance Office from Vandenberg Air Force Base Aug. 17.Lockheed Martin noted that it was the second successful Titan 4 launch this year and the 30th successful Titan 4 launch overall.”This marks the 23rd consecutive successful rocket launch for Lockheed Martin’s Astronautics Operations over the past 16 months, a record we intend to build on,” said Thomas Marsh, president of Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co.
