DataPath Names Helfgott President, CEO

[Satellite Today – 2-12-08] DataPath Inc. has named David Helfgott president and CEO, the company announced Feb. 12.
    Helfgott, a 20-year veteran of the communications industry, has served as DataPath’s president and COO since 2006. He succeeds former CEO Tom Dyer, who now serves as executive chairman of the board.
    "Dave is an exceptional leader who drives DataPath’s strategic vision, and as CEO he is in the best possible position to execute on that vision," Dyer said in a statement. "In my new role, I will continue to work closely with the board, Dave and the rest of our management team. Together, we have strong leadership at DataPath that understands our target government and commercial markets and has the experience to enhance our competitiveness."
