Comtech Wins Two Military Equipment Deals

      Comtech Telecommunications Corp. has received two new equipment deals from military and domestic companies for military equipment.
          Comtech’s California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, received a $1.3 million order from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) for the development of a high power Ka-band amplifier. The amplifier will be a high-efficiency design for use in Air Force airborne platforms.
          Comtech’s New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., received a $1.5 million order for high-power broadband amplifiers for an airborne electronic warfare application from a domestic prime contractor.
          The amplifiers the latest solid-state transistor technology, which provides for broad frequency coverage and are key components in jamming systems manufactured by Comtech’s customer.
