IDC to Focus on Expanding Audience Base

[Satellite TODAY 08-02-13] Helping TV and radio broadcasters reduce costs, attract new customers, and grow advertising revenue is the primary focus of new technology displayed at the International Datacasting booth during the IBC 2013 show, which takes place at the RAI Amsterdam starting Sept. 13.

IDC will exhibit its Laser Targeted Ad Insertion Platform; the Star Pro Audio Solution; Digital Cinema Solution, and the Digital Tattoo DTH Over IP Gateway for Multi-Dwelling Units.

The second generation of IDC’s Laser Targeted Ad Insertion Platform will make its European debut at IBC 2013. The Laser platform helps broadcasters and service providers face licensing, regulatory, and copyright issues, and allows television networks and content distributors to provide targeted local ad insertion, blackout management, and DVB-S/S2 satellite video reception in one platform.
