Comtech Telecommunications Subsidiary Receives $1.4 Million HPA Contract

[Via Satellite 02-14-2014] Comtech Telecommunications has announced that its subsidiary Comtech Xicom Technology has been awarded a $1.4 million contract to supply a major system integrator with rack-mount, high-power amplifiers (HPAs). These HPAs will be used in an expansion of a system to relay military satellite communications around the world.

These HPAs are designed for high-performance satcom uplink applications by providing high levels of RF power and feature an LCD touch screen display control panel designed to configure and monitor the HPAs performance.
