[Via Satellite 02-14-2014] Advantech Wireless has released a new Synthesized Frequency Converter Series that is fully compliant with the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) and European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) standards.

The spectral purity, low phase noise and high stability meet requirements of WAAS and EGNOS international satellite network operators. The WE range of converters provide accurate location indication by correcting GPS signals, which makes this series well suited for large Earth stations.

The WE series features flexible and comprehensive monitor and control features on its converters, ensuring that it will fit into any network management system architecture. The RS485 remote interface provides set-up and fault monitoring facilities, while the RS232 will provide monitor and control functions through a PC, allowing for software downloading.
