[Via Satellite 02-10-2014] Kratos Integral Systems International (Kratos ISI), a business unit of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, has selected SKY Perfect JSAT to upgrade its Epoch IPS satellite fleet management system to support its JCSAT 14 satellite.

SKY Perfect JSAT has used the Epoch IPS for more than 10 years to operate its satellites such as N STARc, JCSAT 9, 10, 12, and 13, and NSAT 110. The JSAT 14, a Loral 1300 satellite, will allow SKY Perfect JSAT to take advantage of Epoch IPS’ ability to operate satellites from different manufacturers in one integrated system. The management system supports satellite designs from all major commercial manufacturers, giving SKY Perfect JSAT flexibility to expand its fleet to provide a broader range of services.

Epoch IPS is a C2 solution currently used on five continents, with clients including AsiaSat, Hellas Sat, NASA, the U.S. Air Force and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
