[Via Satellite 12-12-2016] UltiSat, a provider of managed network services, has appointed Dan Morris as senior director of government services. Morris will oversee efforts to expand the company’s work with U.S. defense agencies and takes his new role as part of a larger effort to grow UltiSat’s professional services portfolio. He previously held senior-level sales, business development, operations and program management positions at Adobe Systems Federal and ARINC, which has been acquired by Rockwell Collins.

Prior to joining the commercial sector, Morris served more than 20 years as a Naval Officer. He is a 1995 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served both as an enlisted sailor and officer. Morris also assumed command of USS Squall rotational crew during combat operations supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

“We are excited to have Dan on our team. His strong military experience and commercial achievements add depth and knowledge to our growing sales organization,” said Amy R.B. Gwinn, UltiSat’s senior vice president of government solutions.
