NASA Issues Goddard Center Tech Support Services Award to ASRC

      [Satellite TODAY 07-22-10]  NASA has awarded ASRC Management Services its Multi-Disciplinary Engineering and Technology Services 2 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide a variety of support services for the agency’s spaceflight and ground system hardware and software, NASA announced July 21.
          ASRC will provide formulation, design, development, flight and non-flight fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations support at NASA’s Goddard Space Facility and at the ASRC’s facility in Greenbelt, Md. The contract also includes the development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions in support of NASA’s applied engineering and technology directorate program at the Goddard center.
          The contract has a minimum ordering value of $5 million and a maximum ordering value of $250 million. The period of performance is five years, which will begin immediately after a 30-day phase-in period.
