Gilat Satcom is set to introduce its SuricatePRO solution supported by
Iridium satellite connectivity, the company announced June 5.
SuricatePRO features the Wireless Iridium Link to connect Iridium users who are located in underground, closed and remote facilities, and the Iridium Tactical Radio to connect headquarters facilities to field tactical radios via the Iridium network.
The product will be available in either wired or wireless configurations, under the Suricate and SuricatePRO brand names, respectively.
“[SuricatePRO] is the end result of a process of research and development effort to ensure reliable, continuous communications for military and governments, anytime, anywhere,” Gilat Satcom’s Head of Mobile Satellite Division Ami Schneider said in a statement. “We are dedicated to supplying our customers with complete satellite communications solutions, for every location — whether on the battlefield, at their headquarters or in the bunker."
