Hughes Unveils New BGAN Land Mobile Terminal with Integrated Wi-Fi

Hughes Network Systems is now accepting orders for its 9450-C11 BGAN land mobile satellite terminal for operation over Inmarsat's BGAN satellite service.

    The Hughes 9450-C11 aims to provide high performance, mobile satellite connectivity for demanding environments at budget-friendly cost. The 9450-C11 is being targeted to global relief work organizations (NGOs), government, first responders, public safety, mobile healthcare, and remote mobile fleet personnel in industries such as utility, oil and gas, forestry, cable, and telecommunications.

   Hughes will begin shipping the product in December.
