Satellite data modem manufacturer Quake Global signed an agreement with Globalstar to design, build and deliver a new line of Globalstar's integrated multimode data modems as well as a next-generation satellite data and voice module, Globalstar announced.

“The addition of the Globalstar Network to Quake's product line will greatly expand Quake's ability to offer its customers reliable, robust, and accurate processing and transmittal of asset-related information in global markets previously unserved by Quake,” said Polina Braunstein, president and CEO of Quake Global, in a statement.

The manufacturer expects to deliver its first model of Globalstar products by the end of 2009, and will introduce a complete line of Globalstar communicators in 2010.
