Nearly every market study produced in the past few years calls for huge growth in the M2M market, driven by the need for companies to cut cost without sacrificing productivity. This Via Satellite webinar will bring together sector analysts, M2M solutions providers and end users to discuss the market and what will drive growth in the future. Register today!

“Using FlexACM we not only benefit from an increased throughput, but the down-time of Horizon’s links has been completely removed, delivering and ‘always-on’ service level to our customers at all times,” said Subair Mullappally, Horizon’s operations director.

Horizon has an uplink in Europe connecting to several sites in the Middle East. Horizon said that for certain sites, receiving conditions were not optimal because the sites were on the edge of the satellite footprint. The link also experienced a daily variation of 3dB peak-to-peak in C/N due to interference from adjacent carrier intermodulation and antenna tracking errors.
