Net Insight has won a transport solution deal with Italian satellite operator Telespazio, Net Insight announced March 30.
Telespazio, a provider of technologies for the broadcasting, distribution and transport of satellite signals, will deploy Net Insight's Nimbra platform for a multiservice video contribution network in Italy. Net Insight develops media transport solutions for IP and quality of service critical broadcast networks.

Net Insight's Nimbra platform will link several sites in Italy with video services such as ASI video and Ethernet data. Telespazio will also implement the Nimbra Vision for network management.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
