ND SatCom, in cooperation with SES Astra, received a two-year frame contract from African VSAT service provider Q-Kon for SkyWAN VSAT units, ND SatCom announced April 8.
The contract covers up to 1,000 units that will be used mainly for mining, oil and gas, banking, and transportation organizations throughout Africa.

“It is our goal to establish a single pan-African network which integrates teleports in Africa and Europe. With SkyWAN, we are able to set up a multi-dimensional, multi-star IP satellite access platform to provide seamless IP connectivity for corporate customers.
