Newtec will unveil two mobile TV space products — the AZ810 stream aggregator and the HZ914 multistream satellite receiver, the company announced April 9.
The new offerings support DVB S2 multistream technology for the primary distribution of digital terrestrial and mobile TV content over satellite.

Multistream is a satellite transmission solution capable of transporting multiple services including, radio, IP, terrestrial and mobile television on a single satellite carrier. Unlike a traditional DVB multiplexer, this new technology does not modify the original data streams, maintaining the integrity of the original content, said Newtec.
