Industry Briefs Winegard Releases Compact Vehicle Roof-Mounted Satellite TV AntennaWinegard Co. unveiled a new compact roof-mounted RV satellite television antenna – the RoadTrip Minimax, the company announced Sept. 14.
The new product, available for $899 is a combination of the Winegard 12-inch RoadTrip antenna and the Carryout automatic portable antenna. The unit is 15 inches high and 20 inches in diameter.
RoadTrip Minimax’s automatic one-button on/off stationary antenna is equipped with DVB technology for automatic satellite acquisition. The antenna can view one satellite at a time and features automatic toggling to switch between satellites while parked. The new antenna supports two receivers as long as the programs are located on the same satellite.

RoadTrip Minimax delivers all standard and HD programming for Dish Network and Bell TV and provides standard DirecTV programming. The unit is not compatible with Ka-band satellites.
