ICO Global Communications has reached an agreement with
MTV Networks to add Nickelodeon and Comedy Central
to the alpha trials of ICO’s mobile interactive media (mim) service, ICO announced Aug. 18.
ICO mim, an interactive mobile video, navigation and
emergency assistance service powered by the ICO G1 satellite, which launched in April, and trials will take place in Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and Las Vegas, starting in late summer of this year.
Nickelodeon and Comedy Central join Cartoon Network and Adult Swim from Turner Broadcasting System as well as multiple offerings from
NBC Universal and
Discovery Networks that will be featured in the trial.
