Sirius XM iPhone Application Reaches 1 Million Downloads in Two Weeks

[Satellite Today 07-07-09] The Sirius XM Radio application for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch has been downloaded more than 2 million times within two weeks of its release, Sirius XM announced July 6.
    The Sirius XM application lets users access 120 channels of talk radio, sports, entertainment and commercial-free music content. Since its release June 18, the application has remained the top free download for iPhone and iPod users.
    "Reaching more than 1 million downloads so quickly is a strong testament to our world-class programming and Sirius XM’s instant brand recognition. Our goal is to give people access to the best audio entertainment wherever they go with what we think is the best music and audio entertainment application available on the App Store," Sirius XM Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein said in a statement.
