The station, which is scheduled to launch in late 2007, will reach 164 million viewers via Arabsat Badr-4, which is located at 26° East.

Separately, Kosmas Georing Services and Arabsat have agreed to cooperate on the development of satellite solutions, the companies announced Sept. 3.

Under a memorandum of understanding signed July 27, the two companies will be working to develop a system for On-Orbit servicing of Arabsat satellites. The program, called Hermes, will focus on extending the life of Arabsat satellites and allow them to receive fuel replenishment in orbit.
