[Via Satellite 04-07-2014] Intelsat has signed a multi-year agreement with RRsat under which RRsat will use Intelsat capacity to expand and enhance the company’s access to the North American Direct-to-Home (DTH) market.

RRsat will increase its capacity on the Galaxy 19 video neighborhood, which serves as the premier Free-to-Air (FTA) multicultural programming neighborhood in the United States, distributing programs from 66 countries in over 40 languages. The Galaxy 19 satellite is located at 97 degrees west and offers a Ku-band DTH platform, which reaches millions of homes in the United States.
