Sirius XM Postpones Filing of 2008 Financials with SEC

[Satellite Today 03-03-09] Sirius XM Radio will file a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to delay filing its full-year 2008 financial report, the company announced Mar. 2.
    Sirius XM said it would file its report no later than March 17, 2009.
    According to Sirius XM, the company told the SEC that senior management has been focused on the recent refinancing transactions and needs additional time to complete its Form 10-K. The company also announced that it will file a form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for its two subsidiaries, XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. and XM Satellite Radio Inc., delaying filing of their annual reports on form 10-K to not later than Mar. 17.
