By | November 26, 2007

[11-26-07 – Satellite Today] Israel’s direct-to-home operators Yes plans to launch high-definition TV (HDTV) services in December, according to press reports.
The package will cost 39.90 Israeli shekels ($10.14) per month, with customers having to commit to three years of service.

The expansion into HD comes on the heels of a September agreement with NDS on a new Internet-based service. Yes will implement NDS VideoGuard PC to secure and enhance the functionality of its new Web-based video content portal.
