ND SatCom, rt1.tv Launch New Satellite Newsgathering Service

ND SatCom‘s technology partner, Augsburg, Germany-based satellite newsgathering service provider rt1.tv, will launch a new service this summer, ND SatCom announced Sept. 3.
The service, dubbed Comfort.link, includes a network of satellite newsgathering vehicles operated by remote control via database that will transmit TV production content via satellite. ND SatCom’s will provide system integration vehicles and provision of all software and hardware components required for network operation. rt1.tv will operate the network and provides the network service.
ND SatCom recently delivered three satellite newsgathering vehicles and a SkyWan-based hub station to rt1.tv.
